Section 5: Power to make rules.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature Members’ Pension Act, 1984.Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 2 of 1984

(1) The Government may make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.

(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely :—

(a) the form in which and the authority to which an application for pension shall be made ;

(b) the certificates to be furnished along with an application for pension ;

(c) the declaration to be made at the time of drawing pension ;

(d) any other matter necessary for proper implementation and enforcement of this Act.
