Section 18: Adjournment of meeting

(l) Where any meeting fails or is unable to transact its business for want of quorum as referred to in Rule 17, the Chairperson shall adjourn the meeting and direct that a meeting be held at such time and place as he thinks fit; and the business which had been listed for transaction at the original meeting shall be brought forward and transacted in the usual manner at such meeting but no quorum shall be necessary thereat.

(2) The Chairperson of any meeting at which a quorum of the members is present may, with the consent of the majority of the members present, adjourn the meeting from time to time.
