Section 50: Acquisition of land for construction of field channels.

The Jammu and Kashmir Water Resources (Regulation and Management) Act, 2010Union territory Act of Jammu and Kashmir · Act 21 of 2010

When there is any dispute between the owners or occupiers or beneficiaries for the construction of a field channel, the Assistant Executive Engineer shall, recommend to the Executive Engineer concerned for acquisition of land in accordance with the provisions of section 34 :

Provided that the compensation payable for acquisition of land under this section shall be paid by the owners or occupiers or beneficiaries of such field channel.
