(1) After receipt of recommendations from the Authority under sub-section (3) of section 78, the Government shall, by notification, declare the specified area as flood basin and specify the prohibitions and restrictions on the use of land covered under such flood basin.
(2) The prescribed authority shall, on the issue of notification under subsection (1), cause public notice of the substance of such notification to be exhibited at conspicuous places for information of the general public and shall also give notices individually to the owners or occupiers of the land.
(3) The prescribed authority shall make available the records, charts, maps, registers and such other documents showing the river channel, flood channel and the flood basin area specifying the nature and extent to which the use of the area is prohibited or restricted in the office for inspection by the general public during office hours.
