At the end of Rule-32 sub rule (3) shall be inserted as follows :-
(3) Notwithstanding the provisions contained in sub rule (1) and (2), in such cases where online Annual Return is filed in such format as may be prescribed by the Government for the purpose it may be filed not later than 30th June of every year.
Provided that the Government, by order, may devise or notify consolidated forms for maintaining registers and records in lieu of the forms prescribed in these rules.
Provided further that the Government may allow the registers and records to be maintained in computerized or digital formats.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section-44 of The Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Act, 1966 (32 of 1966), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to make the following amendment in the Jharkhand Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment), Rules (adopted), 1968.
(i) Short Title Extent and Commencement – These Rules may be called the Jharkhand Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) (Amendment) Rules, 2011.
(ii) It shall extend to the whole State of Jharkhand.
(iii) It shall come into effect at once.

2. Rule:- 8(1) of the Jharkhand Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) (Adopted) Rules, 1968 shall be substituted as follows :- Fees:- (1) The fees to be paid for the grant or renewal of a License under section-4 shall be as specified in the table below :- TABLE Fee for Industrial Premises in which power – driven machinery is used.

R. 10. – In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Act, 1966 (32 of 1966), the Governor of Bihar hereby makes the following rules, the same having been previously published in the Bihar Gazette, Extraordinary, dated 3rd July 1968, vide notification no. G. S. R. 81 dated the 22nd May 1968 as required by sub-section (3) of the said section, namely:- RULES.
CHAPTER I.
PRELIMINARY.
1. Short title. – These rules may be called the Bihar Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Rules, 1968.
2. Definitions. – In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context –
(a) “Act” means the Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Act. 1966 (32 of 1966);
(b) “Chief Inspecting Officer” means the Chief Inspecting Order appointed under sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Bihar Shops and Establishments Act, 1953 (Bihar Act VIII of 1954);
(c) “Form” means a Form appended to these rules; and
(d) “Section” means a section of the Act.
