Section 123: Project Engineer

The Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Jharkhand Rules, 2006State Rules of Jharkhand · 1996

( 1) Every employer undertaking any excavation or tunnelling work shall appoint a project engineer for safe operation of such projects of such excavation or tunnelling work for which such engineer is appointed.

(2) Such project engineer shall exercise overall control of the operations and the activities at such project and be responsible for carrying out the activities safely.
