Section 206: Scaffold supported by building

The Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Jharkhand Rules, 2006State Rules of Jharkhand · 1996

The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-

(a) no part of building is used as support or part of scaffold unless such part of the building is made of sufficient strength and made of sound material to afford safe support ;

(b) overhanging eaves gutters are not used for supporting scaffold;

(c) suspended scaffold is made of in accordance with the relevant national standards before being used by the building workers ;
