Section 294: Investment of amount

(1) Money belonging to the Fund may be invested in the Nationalized Banks or scheduled Banks or in the securities referred to in clauses (a) to (d) of Section 20 of the Indian Trust Act, 1882 ( Central Act 2 of 1882).

(2) The Board may decide to entrust the money belonging to the Fund with the reputed Financial Institution to manage the funds and if necessary may also provide insurance cover for the benefit of the welfare scheme to the beneficiaries.
