At every place of registry, a book shall be kept by the registering authority in which all the particulars contained in the form of the certificate of registration shall be duly entered and such registering au thority shall, immediately after registering any inland 1 [mechanically propelled vessel] or within one month at the furthest, send to the State Government a true and exact copy, together with the number, of every certificate which shall be so granted by it .
