Section 11: The Powers of the Visitor :

(i) The Visitor of the University when present shall preside over the Convocation of the University and the meeting of the General Council and shall also exercise such power as has been conferred upon him by this Act. In case the Visitor is unable to be present for the convocation he may request the Rector to preside over the convocation.

(ii) The Visitor shall have the power to call for the report of any matter pertaining to the affairs of the University.
