Section 90: Compulsory fitment of taxi meter

The Jharkhand Motor Vehicles Rules, 2001State Rules of Jharkhand · 1988

No motor cab required to be fitted with a taxi meter under Rule 89 (hereinafter referred to as "meter") shall be used in a public place unless:-

(i) it is fitted with a meter of a type approved by the State Transport Commissioner's, and

(ii) the provisions of Rules 95, 97 and 98 are complied with.
