Section 191: Commercial Projects and receipts therefrom

The municipality may, either on its own or through public or private sector agencies, or under Public Private Partnership, undertake the planning, construction, operation, maintenance or management of commercial infrastructure projects, including district centres, community and neighbourhood shopping centres, industrial estates, bus or truck terminals and tourist lodges with commercial complexes and any other type of commercial projects including the development of social or economic infrastructures on commercial basis and may enter into different concession agreement for furtherance of the aims and objectives of this Act.
