Section 16: Mode of computation of cash value of wages

The retail price at the nearest market to be selected by Inspecting Officer, if there are more than one such markets, shall be taken into account in computing the cash equivalent of any benefit accruing by the sale of food-grains and other articles at concessional rates. This computations shall be made in accordance with such directions as may be issued by the State Government from time to time.

CHAPTER IV.

WAGES, DISCHARGE OF AN EMPLOYEE.

17. Register of wages - A register of wages and overtime payment shall be maintained by every employer in Form X.
