Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Karnataka Apartment Ownership Act, 1972State Act of Karnataka · Act 17 of 1973

(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Apartment Ownership Act, 1972.

(2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1.

(3) It shall come into force on such 2[date]2 as the State Government may, by notification in the official gazette appoint.

2. Act came into force w.e.f. 1.4.1975 by notification No. FD 28 KHB 75, dated 6.3.1975.
