Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Karnataka Ayurvedic, Naturopathy, Siddha, Unani and Yoga Practitioners Registration and Medical Practitioners Miscellaneous Provisions…State Act of Karnataka · Act 9 of 1962

(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 2[Ayurvedic, Naturopathy, Siddha, Unani and Yoga]2 Practitioners’ Registration and Medical Practitioners’ Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1961.

(2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1.

(3) (a) Chapters I and II of this Act shall come into force at once in the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1; and

(b) Chapter III shall come into force on such 3[date]3 as the State Government may by notification appoint.
