Section 32: Statutes how made

Azim Premji University Ordinance, 2009State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 14 of 2010

(1) The first statutes framed by the Board of Management shall be submitted to the Board of Governors for its approval.

(2) The Board of Governors shall consider the First Statutes, submitted by the Board of Management and shall give its approval thereon with such modifications, if any, as it may deem necessary.

(3) Where the Board of Governors fails to take any decision with respect to the approval of the statutes within a period of thirty days it shall be deemed to have been approved by the Board of Governors.

(4) The University shall publish the First Statutes, as approved by the Board of Governors in the University Notification, and thereafter, the First Statutes shall come into force from the date of its publication.
