Section 9: University open to all classes, castes, creed and gender

Azim Premji University Ordinance, 2009State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 14 of 2010

The University shall be opened to all persons irrespective of class, creed or gender.

Provided that admissions of not less than twenty five percent of the total seats in the academic programmes of the university shall be reserved for students domiciled in the State of Karnataka, subject to fulfilling the admission criteria.

Provided further that if adequate number of candidates are not available, the seats so reserved shall be filled by the candidates from the general pool.
