Section 1: Short title and commencement

The Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1985State Act of Karnataka · Act 39 of 1985

(1) This Act may be called the Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1985.

(2) It shall come into force on such 1 [date] 1 as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint.

1. This Act has come into force w.e.f. 01.02.1986 by notification No. HUD 54 TTP 86 dated: 24.01.1986 Text of the notification is at the end of the Act.
