Section 1: Short title and commencement

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964State Act of Karnataka · Act 36 of 1964

(1) This Act may be called the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964.

(2) Chapters I, II, III and VI of this Act shall come into force at once, and Chapter IV and Chapter V of this Act shall respectively come into force on such 1[dates]1 as the State Government may by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.

1. Chapter 4 came into force w.e.f. 1.12.1964 and Chapter 5 w.e.f. 2.12.1964.
