Section 47: Power to provide meters

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964State Act of Karnataka · Act 36 of 1964

(1) The Board may provide a water-meter and attach the same to the service pipe in premises connected with Board water works.

1[(2) The cost of meters, the expense of their installation, and the rent payable for use of meters, shall be such as may be prescribed by regulations, and shall be paid by the owner of the premises.]1 1[(3) The use, maintenance and testing of meters shall be regulated by bye-laws made in this behalf.]1
