Section 99: Signature on notices, etc., may be stamped

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1964State Act of Karnataka · Act 36 of 1964

(1) Every licence, written permission, notice, bill, summons or other document which is required by this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder to bear the signature of the Water Supply Engineer or the Sanitary Engineer or of any officer authorised or empowered to do so shall be deemed to be properly signed if it bears a facsimile of the signature of any such officer stamped thereupon.

(2) Nothing in sub-section (1) shall be deemed to apply to a cheque.
