Section 29: Promotion of Tourism and piligrimages by the Board

The Basavakalyan Development Board Ordinance, 2004.State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 13 of 2005

The Board may organize programmes and activities for promotion of tourism, cultural, historical and pilgrimage-to give wider publicity to the heritage sites. Such programmes may include,-

(a) Basavakalyan Utsava.

(b) Sharana Sahityotsava.

(c) Art Exhibitions and Sales.

(d) Seminars, Symposia, workshops.

(e) Annual Fairs and Festivals of special nature.
