Section 3: Allowances to the non-official members

The Basavakalyan Development Board Rules, 2005.State Rules of Karnataka · 2005

The non-official members of the Board shall be eligible for allowances at the following rates, namely:-

(a) Traveling Allowance.- For each meeting calculated on the basis of distance traveled in kilometers of rupees 10 per kilometer. Irrespective of mode of journey or rupees 1500/- fixedTravelling Allowance per meeting whichever is less.

(b) Daily Allowance.- The non-afficial Members shall be provided with fully furnished Free Accommodation, at places in which their attendance is required and where such accommodation is not provided the nonofficial members shall be paid Daily Allowance of Rs.

500/- per day during the period of Meeting and one day before the commencement of Meeting and one day after the day of conclusion of Meeting.

(c) Sitting Fee.- The non-official Members are entitled for sitting fee for attending the Meeting at Rs. 1000/- per day.
