Section 4: Application of the Prisons Act and the Prisoners Act

The Karnataka Borstal Schools Act, 1963.State Act of Karnataka · Act 24 of 1964

Subject to any alterations, adaptations and exceptions made by this Act and the rules framed under it, the 2[Karnataka]2 Prisons Act, 1963 and the 2[Karnataka]2 Prisoners Act, 1963 and the rules framed thereunder, shall apply in the case of every Borstal School established under this Act, as if it were a prison and the inmates prisoners.
