Section 68: Time and place for counting of votes

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (Election) Rules, 2021State Rules of Karnataka · 2020

The Returning officer shall, at least one week before the date fixed for the poll, appoint a place or places where the counting of votes shall be done and the date and time at which the counting shall commence and shall give notice of the same in writing to each candidate or his election agent:

Provided that, if for any reason the Returning officer finds it necessary so to do, he may alter the date, time and place so fixed or any of them, after giving notice of the same in writing to each candidate or his election agent.
