Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement
The Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964State Act of Karnataka · Act 23 of 1964
(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964.
1. Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptation of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.
(2) It extends to the whole of the 1[State of Karnataka]1.
(3) It shall come into force on such 2[date]2 as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
