Section 9: Amendment of Rule 37

The Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) (Amendment) Rules, 2022State Rules of Karnataka · 1964

In rule 37 of the said rules, in sub-rule (1), after the existing proviso, the following new proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that if the Cinema theatres / multiplex is shut-down for continuous period of seven days for any of the following reasons like Force Majeure / act of god/ on or shutdown due to government order/ strike and bandh, state wide or nationwide and lockdown, etc. until the business resumes after such situations, for that period and for such reasons the license period will be extended”
