Section 37: Duration of licence

The Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 2014.State Rules of Karnataka · 1964

(1) A Licence granted under rule 36 shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of issue of the licence, but not less than three years subject to annual varification from Fire and Emergency Services and Electrical Inspectorate Department:

Provided that the Licensing Authority may for reasons to be recorded in writing, grant a licence for a period lesser than five years.
