Section 61: Accumulators

The Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 2014.State Rules of Karnataka · 1964

(1) Such number and type of accumulators or automatic DC lights as may be approved by the Electrical Inspector shall be installed to illuminate the auditorium during an emergency or failure of power.

(2) The accumulators shall be placed in a room adequately ventilated to the outside air and this room shall be of fire-proof construction with fire resisting doors and shall not be used for any other purpose.
