The selection authority shall take necessary steps to invite applications from eligible candidates by advertising the vacancies in the Karnataka Gazette specifying the conditions of eligibility, method of selection applicable, provisional number of vacancies to be filled and their classification according to reservation policy of the State. An abstract of such advertisement shall also be published in more than one widely circulated newspaper in Kannada, on the website and such other media of publication as it may deem fit.
