Section 3: Amendment of rule 10

The Karnataka Conduct of Entrance Test for Selection and admission to Post Graduate Medical Education and Dental degree and Diploma Courses…State Rules of Karnataka · 1984

In rule 10 of the said rules,

(i) the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(1) In-service candidate who has completed three years of regular service after the successful completion of probationary period (as on 31st March in which the Entrance Test is held) shall be eligible for admission under these rules and is eligible to apply for the Common Entrance Test and to participate in the counseling;";

(i i) for clause (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) In-service candidate shall be eligible for admission to Post-Graduate Degree and Diploma courses in any subject;"; and (i i i ) for clause (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(4) An in-service candidate who is already holding a Postgraduate Diploma in any specialty shall be eligible for Postgraduate Degree Course in any specialty".
