Section 30: Suits relating to easements

The Karnataka Court-Fee and Suits Valuation Act, 1958.State Act of Karnataka · Act 16 of 1958

In a suit relating to an easement, whether by the dominant or the servient owner, fee shall be computed on the amount at which the relief sought is valued in the plaint, which amount shall in no case be less than rupees 1[one thousand]1:

1. Substituted by Act 21 of 1979 w.e.f. 31.3.1979.

Provided that, where compensation is claimed besides other relief relating to such easement, fee shall be paid on the amount claimed as compensation in addition to the fee payable on such other relief.
