Section 8: Repeal and savings

The Karnataka Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses, Production of Documents and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 19…State Act of Karnataka · Act 29 of 1981

(1) The Karnataka Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses and Production of Documents) Ordinance, 1981 (Karnataka Ordinance 4 of 1981) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
