Section 1: Short title and commencement

The Karnataka Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1984State Act of Karnataka · Act 37 of 1984

(1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1984.

1[(2) This section, clause (c) of section 15 and sub-sections (2) and (4) of section 16 shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the Eleventh day of July 1983.]1
