Section 67: Power of State Government to exempt, etc

The Karnataka Excise Act, 1965State Act of Karnataka · Act 21 of 1965

The State Government may, by notification, and subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be specified in such notification,-

(a) exempt or reduce 1[whether prospectively or retrospectively]1 the excise duty levied under section 22 2[or the licence fee payable by or under this Act, in respect of any liquor sold]2,- 3[(i) for use or consumption by the members of the Armed Forces including Para-Military units) of the Union and Diplomatic agents;]3

(ii) for use for bona fide medicinal, scientific, industrial or such like purposes ;1[or]1 Excise [1966: KAR. ACT 21 408
