Section 2: Amendment of rule 5

The Karnataka Forest Department (Allotment of Government Quarters) (Amendment) Rules, 2014State Rules of Karnataka · 1990

In rule 5 of the Karnataka Forest Department (Allotment of Government Quarters) Rules, 2010, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules),-

(1). in sub-rule(1), in the table,- (I) at serial number (i), for the words “Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Bengaluru”, the words and brackets” Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head Quarters and Co-ordination) Bengaluru” shall be substituted;

(II) at serial number (ii), for the words and brackets “Chief Conservator of Forests, (working plan), Bengaluru”, the words and brackets “Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, (working plan)/Chief Conservator of Forests (working plan), Bengaluru” shall be substituted.

(III) at serial number (iii), for the words “Conservator of Forests, Bengaluru Circle, Bengaluru”, the words and brackets “Chief Conservator of Forests (territorial), Bengaluru Circle” shall be substituted.

(2) in sub-rule (3), after the word “have”, the word “the” shall be inserted;

(3) in sub-rule (4), for the words “rent or penal rent”, the words “Licence Fee or Penal Licence Fee”, shall be substituted;

(4) in sub-rule (6), for the word “has”, the word “does” shall be substituted;

(5) after sub-rule 6), the following shall be inserted, namely:-

(7) In respect of Departmental Quarters Located at Bengaluru, before allotment of quarters to the applicants the Allotment Committee shall obtain prior approval of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Head of Force”.
