Section 31A: Construction of reference to certain laws

The Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899State Act of Karnataka · Act 3 of 1899

Any reference in any 2[Karnataka Act]2, to a Mysore Act which is not in force in the Bombay Area, Hyderabad Area, Madras Area or Coorg District, shall, in relation to such Area or District, unless the context otherwise requires, be construed as a reference to the corresponding law, if any, in force in such Area or District.]1
