Section 4A: Definition of the expressions 'State' and 'State of Mysore' in certain enactments

With effect from the first day of November 1956 2[and upto 1st day of November, 1973]2, in every enactment as defined in clause

(12) of section 3, the expression 'State' and 'State of Mysore' (where those expressions refer to the territory or area), shall, unless the context otherwise requires, mean all the territories for the time being comprised in the State of Mysore.]1
