Section 7: Free Medical Treatment

The Karnataka Government Servants' (Medical Attendance) Rules. 1963.State Rules of Karnataka · 1990

A Government servant shall be entitled free of charge:- to treatment :-

(i) (a) in such Government Hospital at or near the place where he falls ill, as can, in the opinion of the authorised medical attendant, provide the necessary and suitable treatment, or 3[(b) x x x x x x ] 3 3 Omitted in Notification No.GAD 3 SMR 71 dated 15th July 1971.

(ii) to anti-rabic treatment at the nearest Government hospital providing such treatment.
