Section 17: Amendment of section 138

The Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 14 of 1993

In section 138 of the Principal Act,-

(i) in sub-section (2), after clause (a),the following shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided that, the duration of the offices reserved under this sub-section shall be thirty months”; and

(ii)in sub-section (3), for the words “five years” the words “thirty months” shall be substituted.
