Section 5: Amendment of section 12

The Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Oridnance, 2020State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 14 of 1993

In section 12 of the Principal Act,- (i) in 2 clause (l) the following shall be inserted at the end, namely:- “or while holding any office of panchayat”

(ii) in the proviso, after item (d), the following shall be inserted, namely:- “(e) the disqualification under clause (l) shall cease to operate after the expiry of six years from the date of the order.”
