Section 6: Notification of reservation of Constituencies

The Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Reservation of seats in Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat by Rotation) Rules, 2023.State Rules of Karnataka · 1993

(1) The Government shall prepare a draft notification of reservation of constituencies based on the final list prepared in accordance with rule 3 and publish in the official Gazette for calling objections and suggestions from the public within ten days from the date of publication.

(2) The Government shall consider the objections received in respect of the draft notification and take suitable decision to accept or reject the objections.

(3) The Government shall thereafter publish a final notification of the reservation of constituencies in the Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat.
