Section 33: Suits on behalf of notified institutions

The Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997State Act of Karnataka · Act 33 of 2001

Where it is necessary to institute a suit or appeal or proceedings in any Court of law or authority , the Committee of 30 Management or the executive Officer duly authorized by the committee of management may file the suit by engaging Counsel with the prior approval of the prescribed Authority:

Provided that if the Committee of Management fails to file a suit or an appeal, the Assistant Commissioner shall file the same with the approval of the prescribed Authority.]1
