(1) The State Government may, by notification, appoint the Karnataka Udyoga Mitra as a ‘Nodal Agency’ at the State level and the ‘District Industries Centres’ as the ‘District Nodal Agency’ at the district level to undertake investment promotional activities and to render necessary guidance and assistance to entrepreneurs to set up industrial undertakings in the State.
