Section 20: Governing Council to review the academic policies and programmes and functioning of the University

J.s.s. Science and Technology University Act, 2013State Act of Karnataka · Act 43 of 2013

Subject to the other provisions of this Act, Governing Council shall have the following powers and functions, namely:-

(a) to review from time to time the academic policies and programmes and functioning of the University and to suggest measures for the improvement of the University;

(b) to advice the Chancellor in respect of any matter which may be referred to it for advice; and

(c) to exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the statutes.
