Section 45: Appointment of the first Registrar

J.s.s. Science and Technology University Act, 2013State Act of Karnataka · Act 43 of 2013

Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) of section 15, within six months from the date on which this Act comes into force the first Registrar shall be appointed 1[by the State Government]1 on a salary to be fixed by it, for a period not exceeding three years and on such other conditions as it thinks fit:

1. Inserted by Act 10 of 1992 w.e.f. 8.11.1991.

Provided that the person appointed as first Register shall retire from office, if during the term of his office, he completes the age of fifty-eight years.
