(1) The Syndicate shall meet at such times and at such places as may be prescribed and subject to the provisions sub-sections (2) and (3), it shall comply with such procedural rules prescribed for the proceedings of its meeting including the quorum to be present at the meeting:
Provided that, the Syndicate shall meet atleast once in three months.
(2) The Vice-Chancellor or in his absence, any member elected by the members present, shall preside over the meeting.

(3) All the questions relating to any meeting of the Syndicate shall be decided through majority by members present and voting and in case of equal votes, the Vice-Chancellor or the second member presided shall cast the deciding vote.
(4) (a) The Syndicate, for the purpose of consultation, may invite any person having special knowledge and diplomatic experience of the subject matter to be present at any meeting or the person may talk about it and otherwise participate in the proceedings of the meeting. But they shall not be eligible to vote.
(b) The person so invited, shall be eligible for such daily allowance and traveling allowance permitted to the members of the Syndicate.
