Section 3: Charges for Medical attendance

The Karnataka Judicial Officers (Medical Attendance) Rules, 2009State Rules of Karnataka · 1990

(1) A Judicial Officer or member of his family shall be entitled free of charge to Medical attendance and treatment by the authorized medical attendant.

(2) No Judicial Officer shall be entitled to reimbursement of fee charged by dentists or opticians except for extraction of teeth or for eye diseases requiring medical treatment and prescription of glasses.

The cost of glasses shall not be borne by the Government.

(3) No judicial Officer or member of his family shall be entitled to free treatment at any Government hospilal or dispensary for venereal discases or any disease brought aboul by his inlemperance.

(4) No lee shall be charged for slerilizalion of instruments used in conneclion with operations performed on the Judicial officer or member of his family
