Notwithstanding anything contained in the principal Act or any other law for the time being in force, the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette make such provision as appears to it to be necessary or expedient for making omissions from, additions to, and the adaptations and modifications, of the rules, regulations, bye-laws, notifications and orders made under any law in their application to the creation of the office of the Regional Commissioner, and for bringing the principal Act as amended by this Ordinance into force.
