Section 23: Orders to be laid before the Houses of the State Legislature

The Karnataka Land Revenue and Certain other laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2006.State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 12 of 1964

Every order made under sections 19, 20 and 21 shall be laid as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of the State Legislature while it is in session for a period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more sessions and if before the expiry of the said period, either House of the State Legislature makes any modification in any order or directs that any order shall not have effect, and such order shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be.
